Tough but probably rivers. Cam's peak is higher but River's career has been better.

If I could provide him an actual top 10 wide receiver and a top 15 OL.
As well as a OC that can create a game plan.
Cam has lots of limitations. But he has so many positives that you need to game plan specifically for in order to use him to his fullest.

Newton is most physically gifted QB of all time. But Rivers is a dramatically better passer and hasn't missed a game in 14 seasons. I don't think Newton will ever be what he was, so about 8 or so years of Newton or almost twice as many for Rivers. I think I go Rivers..

People are right about Cam being inconsistent, but rivers has never exactly been good either.
Rivers had the most talented teams in the league for years and never won anything, Cam rarely had elite playmakers.
Cams potential and lack of evidence of his prime with elite talent leads me to think Cam is the choice.
All the people picking rivers aren’t providing any factual reasons why, he’s just a guy who turns it over a lot, is hot headed and never wins a big game.

Phillip Rivers has done less with more his entire career. Never even made it to a Super Bowl.
