Hi tiger fans,
someone from CMT (country music television) asked me to help point them to the best food/fan spots during a home game weekend. They are doing several SEC COUNTRY shows and will wrap around a cbs game of the week in the fall .. Any suggestions would be great so i can send them to the best bar spots, tailgating , game day experiences ..
Thank ya!

Names that she gave me were:
The Chimes
Louie's
The Original Raising Canes
The Overpass Merchant
Fred's

any help would be appreciated

Cane’s?!? You’ve gotta be kidding me. Look I know Graves spends a lot of money supporting athletics but it is NOT a place to tailgate. That’s like going to KFC to tailgate for Kentucky foot... oops, sorry basketball.

Raising Canes? What? For tailgating

Go to the mobile home lot in front of the stadium

Walk-ons campus location for Tailgating and GameDay atmosphere.

The Canes at Northgate can be featured as a post game spot to sober up. The line is always long after a game.

Man some of y'all have terrible reading comprehension

He didn't say the best tailgating spot. He's asking for the best food hangout spots for an entire home game weekend.

Any list without Walk-Ons isn't really a list in my opinion. Not only do they usually have bands outside...... But it's about as LSU centric as you get and the stadium is in the backdrop

The best food and fan spots are at the tailgates not at restaurants.

I'm gonna get some flak but I like Parrain's and TJRibs. Both have decent food, have pretty neat cajun/LSU atmosphere, and are overrun with people on Gameday.

That’s the start of a quality list.

George’s under the overpass for a lunch poboy/ sandwich. The Chimes Northgate (not Eastside) is the staple LSU restaurant; I eat there each time I go back, about 5 Xs a year.

Sammys should be closed by then but if not, ignore that place if anyone mentions it. Used to be one of the best and is about to (if it hasn’t yet) go out of business.

Tailgate the RV Lot like someone said. Literally the best tailgate in the country.

Get the group together for a fancy dinner at Jubans at some point. Not an “LSU” place but a Baton Rouge Legacy.
