Well, when you go on the cheap for pumps and valves, that's what happens. "It's just a water system" - don't get the good stuff.

A lot of new construction calls for HDPE firewater piping, the problem is, they are now finding out that all of the benzene in the ground in all of these facilities eats the HDPE and causes leak problems.
