Football is only the beginning for Burrow. Dude will have a monster life after football life has come and gone. CAA knows this. Burrow knows this.

Hopefully Joe will get there but you are showing the absolute top end earners.
Are you misunderstanding on purpose? Burrow doesn't have to be a "top end earner" to make more in endorsements (and other deals) than his NFL contract money.

Half the battle is having the corporate connections. CAA is one of the most influential agencies in the business.

Want a sneak peak at Burrow's pull with the public? Watch his NFL jersey sales numbers the month after he is drafted.

FIFY

Kid is the goods.

Talented, confident (with a dash of cocky - but okay because he backs it up), grounded (remembers where he comes from and the people that got him there - stuck with his OSU girlfriend despite the opportunity to slay every female LSU student if he wished), clean cut, well-spoken, tough as nails and moxie...lots of moxie.

Even the teams/players/coaches he beat recognize he's special.

As an LSU fan and a college football fan, I wish him all the success in the world.

But, his rookie contract will be YUGE!

Rookie contracts are set in stone. Kyler Murray got $35.2MM, so Joe will get slightly more than that. It’s not out of the question that he’ll make more on endorsements, especially if he plays well.

OBJ signed the highest endorsement shoe deal with Nike for 25 million over five years. Burrow won't touch this shoe deal. His endorsements won't exceed his rookie contract.

That is one deal. You are aware that he'll likely have 15 or 20 or so deals? Endorsements and others?

And this is (CAA) the same agency that set up all of LaBron James' deals (before James decided to turn over his agency dealings to a pal from his neighborhood).

And Burrow just came off the best season for a QB in the history of college football. Burrow is hot property. Red hot. He's not Fromm or Herbert.

You seriously believe CAA can't get Joe Burrow 10 mil a year in endorsements and other income? That wouldn't even put Joe in the top 100 of such ancillary celebrity income.

Rafael Nadal is #3 tennis player (Federer #1). Nadal has 20-30 million twitter followers ; makes several million per tweet.

No way he is not in top 4-6 globally IMO. Reported net worth $180 million

Anybody else reminded a little of Joe Namath? Not football-wise but demeanor/attitude wise. A cocky, talented QB who likes to have fun? Maybe it’s just me.

This list is only product endorsements. Tiger is 5th on the list at $42 mil. Tiger's net worth is $800 mil.

They are on the list. Just not in the top 10.

Not in his first few years. Look at that list you put out. Do you see any football players in there? No you don't. Odell made about 7 million a year with his peak endorsement deals that was including the huge deal from nike and head and shoulders. Burrow is not close to where Odells marketability was yet. Not saying Burrow can't make big money off endorsements, but he is not going to eclipse his rookie deal in endorsement earnings.

Got a link to that? You're speaking in absolutes.

If that is your opinion, then I respect that. If you stating it as FACT, then I think you are full of shite/

BTW, agree that Odell is a great receiver, but he didn't come close to the accolades that Burrow accomplished. Natty, Heisman, All-Time season TD record.
C'mon man. LOL

I was told yesterday at the LSU basketball game by a friend that has a mutual friend that is a sports agent that his contract with his agent has language that Joe gets 100% of his football contract money and his agent will get a solid cut of all endorsements. Can you confirm that?

Can't confirm. But the NFL restricts agents to 3% of contract money for rookies (not sure on veterans).

His agent will be highly motivated to maximize Joe's ancillary income. Joe is a media rock star right now. CAA should be able to write their own ticket on deals with Joe.

Burrow has had better stats and accolades sure, but Odell had way more social media influence and star power a few years ago. Odell was hanging with every celebrity and had the most instagram followers in the NFL. He was more marketable than Burrow is.

OBJ didn't win a Natty, a Heisman, and shatter an all-time season TD record.

And 10 million a year in ancillary earnings isn't a big splash in celebrity marketing.

Watch and learn.

10 million a year is a big splash in endorsement deals for NFL players. Only 3 players in the NFL make more than 10 mil a year in endorsements. And you think Burrow is going to come out the gate and just out earn them all? Especially playing in a market like Cincinnatti?
