Yes sir. Raised by a Korean War Naval Aviator who then went on to become the Fire Chief of a NAS. He dealt with death a lot. The 50-80’s were not a kind time to Naval Aviation or Aviation at large. He always carried that dark humor. I assume it is a coping mechanism.
