If he can field a top 30 defense next year he will have done better than Aranda did this year.

LSU's defense was 5th in the nation when you factor in the strength of schedule


Total Defense is a laughable stat. See Utah, Buffalo, & San Diego State

Aranda struggle this year because LSU changed their offensive scheme to a hurry up offense. No way the defense could be on the field that much and anyone should expect the same level of play they had the year before.
