Wouldn’t surprise me to see Edge against AJ Styles at WM.

Hoping AJ didn't hurt himself bad there.

WWE already sliced and diced the raw broadcast (usually do a cleanup before moving it to the library) to where you see 2 referees and a black shirt right after the spear but they've taken out the referee up on the ring passing along the message from the back. Unfortunately I decided to take a piss when I saw Corbin's VR graphics but my wife and son filled me in.

Also unfortunately my hometown referee didn't work tonight and pizza making former WWE Referee is over in India with Khali. So no way to find out what the communication was for Beth or AJ. (IMO, after her hair started turning bright red Beth stayed in there way too long...hopefully it'll improve her shitty NXT commentary.)

Lesnar is a little doughy these days

I normally don't notice those things but he looks like a guy who's been sitting in a heated blind all fall while hunting on his land. Doughy AF and out of shape for any main event. He needs to work a full TV before he can be trusted to go on last at Mania.

To add to others, Drew's story is awesome. We got fast tracked, fell on his face, and then worked his arse off to get to where he is now. I wonder what the setup will be for the next two PPVs. Will they put him in there against Dolph in SA...or maybe one of those "uncomfortable partners" situations where he and Brock team up against Dolph/Roode. You've got to figure USA/FOX will be fine with crossovers as long as both shows are getting the same number of them.

VERY disappointed that Punk wasn't there. Would've been great to see him main event Mania with Brock dropping the title to Drew next month. Punk/Drew could be given a half hour and go over 15 minutes...Brock/Drew not so much. If they put the 2021 Rumble in Milwaukee that stadium would explode just as loud as Chicago if Punk came out...I just don't know at that point if the money/ age/health would lineup for him winning it next year & likely going to Vegas for Mania.

Really enjoyed the Rumble this year.
Sheamus vs Gable was great match, really got the crowd going.

Andrade vs Humberto was a little off pace, but a good match

Reigns vs Corbin was just a lot of fun and they really used the entire arena and the pin on top of the dugout was really cool.

Women's Rumble Match was good. Looking back on it, Charlotte winning was pretty obvious. She was champ the first year so she wasn't in it, second year, she was eliminated last, so this year was her year to win it. Just hate that they made Baszler look like a chump.

The Fiend vs Bryan was great, but the finish was a little flat. The chokeslam didn't really hit well, but other than that, really enjoyed it.

Bayley vs Evans was okay. Nothing too exciting. Their feud will probably continue.

Becky vs Asuka was great too. I really hope we don't get Becky vs Charlotte at Mania.

Men's Rumble match was great. Loved Lesnar clearing house for the first half and then getting eliminated by McIntyre with an assist from Ricochet. I knew Edge was rumored to be in the match, but it was still a great moment hearing his music hit and him spearing everyone in the ring. Really happy McIntyre won. I always forgot how tall he is and he was just towering over Lesnar.

So after sleeping on this rumble I firmly believe it was the best Rumble in at least 10-15 years.

Yep....I'm hoping Sheamus gets to a bigger spot on the card. I'd hoped they would use this match to establish him as a huge heel...which I guess they kind of did. Assuming Drew takes down Brock at Mania (which better happen)...there could be money in a tweener crowd fav McIntyre vs a shite-eating Sheamus heel.

The aesthetics of the match made it entertaining....I really hope this is the blowoff for these 2...although I'm sure we will get this one more time and DB vs Fiend one more time before they start to build toward Fiend vs Roman at mania.

This is the only beef I had with this event and even this one had good points. I love how they put over Belair...she has worked hard in NXT and has looked good in this program leading up to her match with Rhea at Takeover. However, I think last night was Shayna's time....she has been ready for a while. They should have put Shayna over and she could have come and had her swan song on NXT on Wednesday in part by declaring that she was going to take Becky out at WM then we could have had a helluva build to that. I think having Charlotte win there was the wrong call, but having Shayna and Belair exit pretty strong was good.

This was a good match....the strap seemed to add something. Plus we haven't seen a strap match in WWE in a while so that added to the match. I think they are still working on the Mandible Claw finisher with a pin....I think they should just do it as a pass out/submission finisher myself but they have been doing the pin which is kind of weird at times with it.

This was the only real dud of the night in my mind......this whole fued has been a dud. I don't see in Lacey what WWE sees obviously. She hasn't grown much since she came to the main roster last year. The face turn for her seems to have set her back maybe. The WWE needs to find a way to get the title off of Bayley before Wrestlemania....BUT the person they put it on needs to be worthy of a high profile title match at Mania against Charlotte. I suppose that could be the role for Shayna....we'll see.

Becky vs Asuka was great too. I really hope we don't get Becky vs Charlotte at Mania.

This was a good match....nothing notable but good work from both ladies. WWE needs to figure something out with Kairi Sane.....her work outside the ring as a manager/corner person was incredible last night. Her exclamations and facial expressions were impressive. If they can build Sane her vs Becky at Mania would be good I think. I could even get behind Sane taking the title off Becky if they can build another big woman face on Raw.

Definitely the highlight of the night and like I said earlier the best Rumble match in the last 10-15 years....when Brock was buring people to start I was a bit concerned but that was to build him up as an unbeatable force to put Drew over even stronger and it worked I think. Now would I change some of the people that I fed to Brock...yea probably didn't need to do that to Kofi or Rey BUT it is what it is. Edge really added to the match and looked like a guy coming back from a different era that really belongs in this locker room with the other guys. Granted it's easy to protect those guys in the Rumble so let's see how he does in a singles match, but he looked pretty damn good...although he needs to color his beard or something. Something between him and Randy can be good...although I wonder if that will be a feud built for a PPV leading into Mania....I imagine they would want to do something with Edge to see what he does in a regular match...or maybe they will team him and Orton up for a PPV leading into Mania and then do a real split. Who knows but I'm interested to see where it goes.

All and all happy with the show.
