I'm pretty sure Dollywood will be closed in February.

Also, this is a good time of year to get great rates for the Margaritaville hotel in Gatlinburg. It is in the middle of everything and they have an indoor pool. Also, skip Anakeesta. There is not a lot to do up there for the price. But, I would participate in the Moonshine sampling. There are a ton of those in Gatlinburg and lots of fun.

Make sure you get out and mingle with the locals. Don't just hang out on the resorts all day. Be adventurous, eat the local foods and drink the local beers. I'm an adventurous guy who loves adventure!! I live on the edge

If you need to get your Cajun meal, the New Orleans Deli is really good. Hole in the wall place.

Pinball museum is fun. We always stop at Smokey Mountain Knife Works at some point.

Dollywood
The old mill for lunch
Paula deans kitchen on the island
Apple barn for lunch
Alamo steakhouse for dinner
Moonshine and wine tasting
Find a place you can ride a horse through the mountains. I can’t describe how much better this made my last trip.
Smokey mountain knife works is a cool place to go.
Mels diner for a milkshake. The food is mediocre but I stopped there several nights to get a chocolate malt.
Any of the alpine slides, they’re pretty much all the same.
Escape rooms are always fun.
Most of this stuff is in pigeon forge. Hope this helps.

Dollywood is 100% closed in February. Does not reopen until mid-march.

Dixie Stampede and Hatfields/McCoys are pretty hokie but little kids like them. No need to do both.

Ober Gatlinberg is a neat little mountain for beginning skiers, not too crowded and pretty basic. Tubing is great fun too.

Many alpine coasters in the area.

Pancake Pantry is where to go for pancakes.

Aquarium is okay

SMNP is a must, so many cool trails/waterfalls etc.

Do:

Have plenty of cash. Lots of the little pancake places on the "strip" don't take plastic, but will be glad to point you to the ATM by the front door with stupid high fees.

Have some moonshine

Buy your groceries on the way into town. Was only one real grocery store in G'burg with really high prices.

If you are driving through Chattanooga, have lunch at Hillbilly Willy's

Don't:

Go to Uber Gatlinburg, unless you want to ski. The indoor attractions there haven't been updated since I went in the 90s.

Stay in Alpine Mountain Resort in Piegon Forge, great place. For something different try Climb Works, it has zip lines and mountain biking. Take a picnic at the Chimneys area.
