Julia Cate Reed, a young girl from Sulphur was diagnosed with Leukemia very recently. There is a HUGE benefit for the Reed family this weekend at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on Maplewood Dr in Sulphur. There are over 30 teams cooking gumbo for you to try, a washer tournament and silent and live auctions. Please come out and support Chuck and Jessica Reed and their family. All proceeds go to help with expenses for sweet Julia Cate.

My son had ALL about 13 years ago. Doing well today thanks to St. Jude

There's a special place in heaven for Pediatric Oncology medical professionals

There are lots of resources available to families of cancer kids.

I'm assuming she will go to Houston for treatment? or St. jude?

Chuck is the old mayor’s son, correct? Leslie’s little brother? Sending prayers.

God Bless her and the fam. There has been great advances in treating leukemia so hopefully she’s fortunate as well. My friends son was diagnosed at age 12. Had bone marrow transplant etc out in Seattle. He’s 26 now and perfectly healthy.
