believe for us to win, we will have to be efficient from 3. I think if we can hit 35%+ of our 3’s it gives us a chance to win. If we are miserable from 3, say something like 4 of 21, we have little shot in this one.

I agree. Florida slows the game down and makes teams grind out half-court possessions on both ends. LSU generally tends to overwhelm less talented teams with athleticism and the ability to speed up the game. But they had a pretty tough time doing that last season vs. Florida in all three matchups.

This Florida team, IMO, compares to a more talented Miss. St. team. LSU got crushed on the glass vs. State and was horrible from 3 that night. Still, they played just good enough on defense to win a "rock fight".

I suspect even with the short bench LSU is going to press on defense in an effort to speed UF up. If LSU can hit some threes it's going to get the pace in their favor. If not, it could be a slow death kind of like last season's games. LSU was never "out of it". But it never felt like they were going to be able to pull it out in the end.

I feel like Parker Edwards can to come off the bench and spark the team from the three line for 4-5 minutes each half. Is Parker Edwards eligible this year or is he too much of a defensive liability to earn playing time because the dude is a sharp shooter and does not miss from the three line?
