Have yet to set foot in a blind this year.

We have a slough that cuts through some hardwoods between row crop tracts - May go out there this week and lean against a tree.

Going forward the plan is to hunt some BWT early fall and book a nice hunt in Kansas in early Jan.

Talking with a bunch of 15 guys - many of those leases will be abandoned next season. Same in Mer Rouge Bonita area - the blind lease guys are tired of paying 5 figures for teal shoots.

Guides throughout NELA are cancelling booked trips because hunts are so bad.

If we get birds, you must be next to or in timber - the mallards simply avoid the field now days....but the number of quality hunts, in the best spots in NELA are down to 4-5 a year at most.

Anything around little Missouri happening? Those were $10k-$15k blinds years ago. Figure all of the Kennedy blinds are that or more now days.
Starting to believe the number conspiracy guys on total ducks.
