Do we know how much money he is making? I saw people speculate maybe $2M/yr. It sounded like he was making less than $1M/yr in his new LSU deal. He's 30 years old and already and NFL OC. He doesn't get this opportunity next year if LSU goes 9-3.
I don't see how he passes up this opportunity. If the Panthers look average, he has NFL OC on his resume. He would be considered for multiple major jobs (including LSU) in the future.
If he were my son, I'd tell him this is too good of an opportunity at this point in his career to pass up. Keep good relationships with everyone and don't burn any bridges. It looks like Brady is doing just that.
