At least Coach O doesn't talk in bizarre cryptic circular generalities like Miles.
Also, I have YET to see any member of the media, reporters, announcers, emcees, questioners from the audience, interviewers, etc. EVER say the words: "Coach O., can you repeat that?"
The man has a deep, gruff voice. But if you can't understand him when he gives press conferences or is being interviewed or asked questions, you must be phukking deaf.
Bobby Hebert has a thicker Cajun accent than Coach O, and everyone seems to understand HIM.
It's people being lazy assuming that a deep, gruff voice somehow magically = an accent. Bullshyte...
And do we describe any OTHER football coaches by what they did as a summer job FORTY YEARS AGO ????

The posters that mock Coach O are the same ones that have little Johnny at home. 3rd string guard on the middle school team. Also they are the same people that talk bad about some of our players. All they need to do is put some pads on, go out to practice and see the type of athlete it takes to even put on a football uniform at this level. They will never get it. After all, they just told little Johnny wait till next year.

Truth. O is easier to comprehend than Miles.

This all day, Bobby Hebert has kept his accent pretty well intact, it’s not nearly as thick as people that live on Bayou Lafourche, but there’s still enough nuance and it’s flat enough that he still sounds like Bayou Lafourche to me. Coach O does not, he still sounds Louisiana, but not at all like Bayou Lafourche, CoCo on the other hand
