This is always interesting to me. Choosing to receive is putting your best unit out first (for LSU). If you score, you set the tone. If you do not, it hurts momentum and you do not get the ball back the second half.

I say the bigger momentum swing is to defer and stop Clemson from scoring. That would worry them bigly.

or they score, with their prolific offense, and we're behind early.

Our offense is as good as it ever will be in my lifetime. We should take the damn rock.
