Yeah I have one as does my wife. They are great until you have to service them. Then just like everyone I know told me, they never work correctly again. Both Datejust, here has a diamond band. I inherited a gold president too. Never wear it

This should NEVER be the case. I am an amateur watchmaker and can take apart, clean, oil and reassemble a 3135 movement in a short day and have it running with 0 beat error, ~280 degrees of amplitude and a rate of -1 to +2 sec. If you ever want to have them serviced correctly let me know where you are located and I will get you a recommendation for an indy, you could also send them to Rolex but the prices are somewhat higher.

Any decent mechanical watch movement properly service should outlive you and your offsprings offspring.

I meant to mention this before and forgot. (about to get pedantic) While many people call the Day Date a President or a Presidential in Rolex parlance President refers to the band type not the watch. In men's watches they come only on Day Dates (all of which are precious metal like all President bracelets) on women's watches the come on Day Dates and some Datejusts in precious metal.
