He probably won't be around much longer. It's not the end of the world. LSU pays coordinators as well as any school in the country and will be able to attract a top notch replacement.

Stay in the south with easy grounds for recruiting (considering he's not a recruiting machine!), and go to a smaller team with not much of a pressure. I don't think the top dogs will have the patience for more than 2-3 years without results, and coaches won't age graciously!
