I have been in your position except mine was with my mom. Lost my uncle afterwards and both of her other siblings battled cancer as well. I blame Columbus Ohio in the specific area they grew up for the reason for them all having cancer.

That all being said, I work in cancer diagnostics and can say we are steadily attacking this horrible disease.

I was a deer in the headlights with my mom's illness. I am a mommas boy and I WAS horrible at handling the terror of it. I regret a lot since i turned myself off from things I should have helped her with. I lost her. I love her. Be as good of a brother as you can be. Your love will give her strength that she needs no matter the outcome and it will make you stronger.

God bless.

As someone who lives in Columbus, I’m completely unaware of any cancer clusters in the vicinity, and even then, the majority of clusters are more likely due to randomness than some specific (external) cause. And in the unfortunate situation in your family, I would think that some sort of issue specific to that immediate family is more likely, but that could when been due to randomness.
