Spent way too long at looking at different side-by-sides, finally settled on the Polaris Ranger 1000 XP. Shopping in Brookhaven and ATVzone in Roseland because both will let me get away with 1.5% Mississippi farm sales tax. For the life of me, I can’t get anybody to come off the sticker price. Am I just a bad negotiator?

Call sunrise Motorsports in Searcy, AR. Might be worth the drive. Saved me 2k two years ago. Worth calling for price comparison, if nothing else.

Bought an atv recently and had the same issue. Brookhaven acted as if it was a privilege to purchase something from them. I will never do business with them again.

I ended up at Honda of Covington and they at least beat Brookhaven’s price by $300 and paid sales tax.

Just have to be patient and let these dealerships earn customers business. Good luck.

Bought mine from ATV zone in Roseland. I was happy with my deal. They have rebates of $1500 on 2019’s if you can find one in stock.

What is sticker? Gills Powersports in Corinth has the Polaris 1000 XP Ranger for $14500.

I’m in the same boat man. I’m looking at a 2020 North Star and dealers are not budging much.

There are enough baws willing to finance them at their price for 7 years that they politely decline your business.

There is not as much margin on Polaris as you may think. Not surprising that dealers are holding their price. Especially on the Northstar units. Only so many out there and if you don’t buy it somebody else will.......soon

I’ll just say this. I work in and around the motor sports industry and ATV Zone sells side by sides for their cost or below despite what you think. There are no margins. Money is made for them on accessories and warranty. This is 100% certain

This is the #1 dealer in the country for Polaris. You're not gonna get service if you buy it from 2 states away but thats a choice you gotta make.

They will move them regardless if you buy it or not they are popular and they know this.

Best time to buy is when Polaris has their sales.

I bought my 2016 900xp right when the 17s came out. MSRP on mine was 14.7 without any options. Added the roof, winch, and extended warranty was at 11k during the sale event.

Sunrise motorsports in Searcy, AR. Just bought one last month, they saved me right at $2,000. Great customer service and even stayed open late for me making the drive from North LA.

Supposed to have a PTO to qualify for 1.5% farm tax.

Go to Texas and pay zero tax. I have a Texas Agricultural Permit and in the last three years have bought crew Mule, Bush hog, rotary tiller, Zero turn Kubota mower and a tractor and haven’t paid a dime in sales tax.

Not sure about a Polaris but the guys in Brookhaven were untouchable on a Kawasaki Mule FX Pro 2 years ago. I saved over $2,000 and didn’t have any issues. My Mule has been a beast. It gets used for all kinds of farm type work during the year then used in duck ponds during hunting season.
