Cohen did the crime at the direction of individual 1, hence the co-conspirator. Keep up.
Edit: if you direct someone to do a crime you are implicated in that crime. Being president is what kept Donald out of jail on this one (for now)

The court documents DO NOT state that Cohen engaged in a conspiracy, so by definition trump cannot he a co-conspirator
