You're making this specifically about LSU and OSU when I'm talking about the overall rankings. But, if you want to break it down to just those two, if LSU beats UGA next week LSU will have the edge in all of those except this all year consistency thing.

IMO they think OSU is the best team and they are manipulating the rankings to justify moving them to number 1 last week after the media backlash. In no way do I think it's a conspiracy against LSU. I don't believe in any of that shite with the SEC or officiating or that the SEC wants Bama to win or whatever.

There are just too many inconsistencies in the way they try to justify the way they rank all of the teams.

I agree. LSU would have the better resume if they beat UGA this weekend - and it will be a much better resume. LSU will have 4 current top 10 wins if they win this weekend. OSU will have maybe one. Because Wisky will fall out, Baylor/Oklahoma will fall out. Utah could fall out with a loss. This would push Auburn and Bama back into the top 10.

The CFP has shown that resume matters - they showed this when they put LSU above OSU. Therefore, next week LSU's resume will have to out-weigh OSU's consistency. And I think that is possible. Especially if Wisky keeps it close.

But I'm certainly not going to say the CFP is putting other teams in the appropriate spots just to keep OSU at #1 - that's asinine.

I agree with all the other rankings from this week too. It makes sense. If you bring up Cincy and say they shouldn't be in the top 25, then tell me who should take their place.
