Trump is one person that happens to be president with an opinion. There is nothing authoritarian about that. Now if he enforced that opinion outside of the bounds of law then I would agree that he would be authoritarian. There was nothing authoritarian with Obama implementing his beliefs within in the bound of the law and there is nothing authoritarian about Trump enforcing or influencing his opinion within the bounds of the law either.

Authoritarian would be running to find a judge halfway across the country to declare an injunction against Kemp making this selection. That shite happens all. the. time. But it ain't Trump doing it.
