Georgia elected its governor. Governors appoint senators. Elections have consequences.

Trump wanted Louisiana to help with the governor race too. I do not know the inner workings or why the governor of Georgia does not want Collins as his choice. But saying the governor should cow-tail to the president is not right either.
It will be interesting to see Collins in the up coming judiciary hearings. This could sway some opinions.

Erick Erickson likes the pick so that has me super skeptical. She is Catholic so maybe she is conservative. Not really a fan so far from what I’ve read... a billionaire senator? Come on man.
