Yeah I would like to see how many yards defenses allow compared to their opponents’ average per game.
Tigers would be a bit better in such a stat notwithstanding last night

People don’t factor in that part of the defensive struggles are a product of the offense. The defense
Is on the field all game with this offense that scores lightening fast. They are tired and with injuries do not have a ton of depth at the moment.

Why not both? I enjoyed the ride up to the 9-6 game and it took 8 years to enjoy it again. Fix things that are broken. Aranda’s scheme is shite, or we are simply unable to execute it. Either way, it’s not going to work, it’s getting worse every year, and it needs to change.

CFP Rankings
#1 LSU

"Nothing's wrong here! All is great!"
Of course our offense is spectacular, but the P&G glasses must be blinding you if you think our defense could contain Ohio State, Clemson, even Oklahoma.
We'll have to outscore those teams to win. We might be able to do it, but our defense isn't providing much help this year.
It doesn't mean you a bad person if you simply acknowledge that fact.

Recruiting, and better coaching.
This is undeniably correct. The trolls, posi or nega, don’t really care about the facts.

What about OSU and Clemson?

On average Ohio State holds opponents 160 yards under their season averages and no opponenet has met or exceeded their season average against them.
5 of LSU's 9 FBS opponents have exceeded their season averages.

Clemson and Ohio State's offense is #3 and #4, respectively. However, Alabama is #8. Texas is #20. Ole Miss is #28.
On total D, Florida is #13, Auburn is #24, Alabama is #27.
It is not as if LSU has not been tested against good D and O.

Outside of two fluke long bombs vs Alabama, how’d LSUs defense do?
Ole Miss game completely negates that?
This Ole Miss game, their worst game of the year is their identity now?

Every one of those top defenses have not played anyone that can test them. LSU faces an NFL caliber dline and top sec defense in Auburn and won. Next...
