It's speculation because Rispone won't speak to the issue. Silence is Golden they say. He could easily today, state I will not change the homestead exemption during a constitutional convention. He hasn't and wont.
Why do you think the Sheriff's Association has endorsed JBE? Here's why below? And again, he hasn't denied it's his goal.

The sheriff’s association has been behind JBE since the last election, in part because his family was tied in with them.
That money may help matters but let’s not pretend this alliance between them is new and due to Rispone’s policies.

The state should quit funding local services and cut our taxes.
