Because Tulane brings nothing to the table deserving a home and home series.
LSU has offered to renew the series as long as it’s played in Tiger Stadium. Tulane thinks they can do better, so more power to them. Let them do better. In the meantime we alternate an appearance in Death Valley amongst other state schools. And LSU is currently ranked #1 in the land, while Tulane’s program is just rank!

Tulane claims that LSU owes them a game in the Dome re the last K that Skip signed.
I'm an old guy who remembers Tulane being our natural rival. If you go to their web sites, they know they will not get a 1 for 1 & being that they are Tulane, they think they are too good to accept 2 or 3 for 1. Usually they can draw maybe 12 or 13K. They got 20K last week when neither LSU or the Saints played & it was a beautiful day. To sell out the dome, LSU will need to bring 40K+. Can't see LSU giving up a home sell out for a maybe pay day against a AAC Tulane, even if it would be a rent a win.
