Routinely our starters would get gashed and fall way behind. Our bench mob would go in and turn it around, giving us wins...against other bench guys or guys who are now bagging groceries.

The fact of the matter is, we are deeper with mid level talent than almost any team. The problem is we just don’t have the high end talent without Zion.

We have a lot of good players, but not many great ones (if any). Our depth can outmatch anyone but our starting can be matched by most.

As Zion gets healthy and develops that will be obviously a huge boost, but we will also have to identify, draft and trade for the top end talent to go with him.

If ingram shoots 38-40% from 3 this season you have to do everything to keep him. Dude can get his own shot anywhere he wants.

Him and Zion and Jrue should be the only pieces you keep. Find a pg that can shoot. Pray hayes develops.

I honestly like lonzo staying but all three of the back court players are too ball dominant to play together

I didn’t.
They look terrible together, the starters. Maybe if Jrue wasn’t playing like arse on offense we’d look better.
Lonzo needs to go, and so does Favors.

Ingram needs to be given the ball at the end of games if we are going to try to run stupid arse half court sets. Just give him the ball and force a favorable switch and let him go to work. It’s what he needs to become in order for us to be a playoff team one day.

It is amazing that we are two games into a season with a brand new roster and people are ready to ditch Ball and Favors. Can we give them time to figure this stuff out. No one is expecting this team to compete for a deep playoff run this year. Let alone even make the playoffs. Let's see how they look come January. If it still isn't clicking, than that may be enough of a same size to say changes may need to be made.

Jrue overrated. Ball is a waste.

Favors and Ball are both good players, but they don’t fit with this roster(Ball), or our style(Favors), or as a good compliment to Zion.
My opinion on that hasn’t changed from the time we acquired them.
As I said, I think they are both good players, they just aren’t being maximized with our roster.

I’m not too upset about it. We should be able to upgrade our team b/c they are both assets. Much different from saying Solo sucks.

I said a couple of weeks ago that we had no viable bigs (especially defensively) beyond Favors and got downvoted all to hell.

That seems pretty clear right now.

I like Melli but he is no Niko

Ball needs to do a better job running the point and setting guys up for open looks, the right guys.

If Jrue plays halfway decent the past two games we are probably 2-0. Considering the majority of this team has been together for about a month and we are missing a key player I am fine with all of the experimenting and general play of the team. We took the defending champs to the limit (even without Kawhi I think they are a top 3 seed in the east) and played a Mavs team with two great players and high expectations pretty well for about 45 minutes. If this team is no where near .500 by Xmas then we can start worrying.

Y’all are some dummies right now. Look at Jrues first few games the two previous seasons. It looks very similar to these first two games. And guess what? He got it together, and he will again. We have many new faces yet y’all wanna blow shite up. Be a rational fricking person

Amazing how after 2 games, everyone already has definitive conclusions about the players.
