2 years short of a decade of arse whooping will make any fan-base a little "fixated"

"fixated with Bama"

why start a thread about being fixated with Bama?
reasonable people that read Tigerdroppings should be able to figure this out.
as an LSU fan it's easy.

1) Deep down, most Tiger Fans wonder if we would have won all those championships had Saban stayed.

2) They are the current measuring stick for success. Had the rant been around in the mid 1990's there would have been many more threads about Spurrier and the Gators (but not as many as Bama because of the Saban connection)

3) For the past few years during their streak over us, we have played the role of little brother. We worry about them much more than they worry about us. If we can win a couple, I think that our collective anxiety will dissipate (some).

I'm fixated for the same reason I'm NOT fixated on Allbarn (see my thread I started earlier), and thats the recent losses.

1. Saban brought LSU to new heights only to leave and return to a division rival within less than 2 years.
2. They've owned the SEC since Saban's 3rd year which places the bullseye on them.
3. LSU is GREAT this year, but the question still remains, "Can LSU beat Bama?" Everyone understands that this is our best chance to beat them since 2012, and everyone is excited for the opportunity to get potential revenge.

My oldest child turns 8 years old on 11/07/2019. He was born the Monday following the 9-6 game in 2011. I now have 3 kids and none of them have seen LSU beat Bama.

Have no fear friends, Bama is done this year. Like I have said in other posts
Bama has 5 freshman starting on defense due mostly to injury. Another freshman on the OL. Tua if he plays will be 70 percent at best. Hell his injury normally takes a month to heal.
I think we got this one

Bama is the standard. The road to SEC and national championships go through Tuscaloosa Alabama.

It’s really a simple as that

This is the 50,000th identical thread. And everyone already knows the answer. So why do people have to keep creating this exact thread subject?

Then you understand why! Oh, and they have our old coach.... Oh and they have won several titles the last few years so why wouldnt we be fixated in knocking off one of the top teams in college football?
