Get it. You have to get your property's most recent survey (mine was circa 1970s) at the appropriate JP office (i think Yenni bldg in Elmwood). $1 or something cheap like that.
Then take it to the permit office where you sit down and explain on the survey where its going.
Depending on where its going, you may want to do 811 and get your markings to avoid data and gas lines.
I got popped for $300 bc some random neighbor(not an immediate one affected in any way) noticed I didnt have a permit slip on my window. And then the inspector noticed something else i had to modify.
Some people are angry losers.
The time and $37 are worth it.
