He's been playing good ball for them the last few years on a cheap contract. He would've otherwise commanded a top 2 round deal/contract from whoever drafted him. Sure he's getting paid now, but he has missed out on millions, possibly tens of millions, because of the BRPD not knowing what the frick they're doing.

unless he has some catastrophic, career impacting/ending injury, he's going to get a life changing contract, it's what Jones does
