the bowl games are the same now and mean just as much. There’s just an extra game - the national championship game.

i’m shocked that some people bitch about the current system, which is far superior to the prior 2 team BCS championship game.

It’s funny that the March Madness selection committee is universally respected, but the Football Selection Committee gets grief, even though it’s very similar.
