I agree that this is a waste of time. At the time, the firing of this prosecutor was seen as a good thing, not only by the USA but also the other western democracies.

He was generally viewed as corrupt and there were numerous street protests by the Ukrainian people demanding his removal since he was protecting his friends and other political allies and oligarchs. Basically, the USA did not want to provide $1 Billion in loan guarantees to a corrupt government.

Baaa. Search Shorty Robs breakdown of what you are saying.
For you know not what you are talking about.

There was very little talk of corruption until Biden and the US started pushing it.
There is another post here with new info with the documents that show what you are saying is wrong.

ETA - Oizer's post several above this one. check it out

Whether you’re Paul Manafort, Tony Podesta, or Hunter Biden, if you’re involved in the Ukraine, you’re shady as shite.

In the case of Shokin’s firing, Shokin claims the reports of him not rooting out corruption were fabricated to prevent him from prosecuting certain individuals. This is indeed backed up by the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s memo where Blue Star Strategies representatives stated that entirely different information had been circulated by the Kerry State Department. PGO Memo According to the memo, they were there to apologize for disseminating false information about the PGO in the Burisma case. They were supposed to arrange a meeting with the State department but as soon as a new Prosecutor General (allegedly hand-picked by Biden) was appointed, it never materialized.

Further, ANTAC, the anti-corruption action center in Ukraine claims that Blue Star strategies is heavily involved in attacking anti-corruption activists in the Ukraine ( ANTAC)

During Shokin’s time they represented Lyovochkin (who worked with Manafort to rig the sale of a Ukrainian telecom company in 2010 in favor of the Chinese - Luxembourg Herald) The same Karen Tramontano that appears in the PGO memo also just registered in 2017 to represent a Ukrainian NGO that, according to ANTAC, works solely on discrediting anti-corruption orgs (see previous ANTAC link).

So, let’s lay it out. Shokin was the Prosecutor General. He completed a number of anti-corruption reforms that are still in use today. Further, he had purportedly completed all steps necessary to charge Zlochevsky in the Burisma case. Meanwhile, an American political firm (Blue Star) with a track record of attacking anti-corruption activists in the Ukraine was representing a corrupt Ukrainian politician (Lyovochkin). This politician was working with Paul Manafort to rig the sale of a telecom company (Ukrtelecom). They later attest to disseminating false information about his office during that time - and that the State department information did not align with reality as well.

See where we might not be getting the truth here from our media?

As far as the protests: while I’m sure there were some legitimate ones, having the Azov Battalion protest you would be a point of pride as they’re literal nazis. Further, it’s questionable if the Automaidan protests weren’t the result of CIA operations. Granted, the claim came from Spetznaz soldiers torturing a protestor, we’ve been known to sow some discontent in our day.
