Manson’s situation is far more complex than this one. He did actually shoot a man, though I don’t recall the victim dying.
The girl’s charge wasn’t based on her telling the boy to kill himself. If you listen to the judge in his closing, he states that she had a duty to alert officials/EMS of the situation and she did not. Why? Who knows? Could it have been the dozens of time makers the boy cried wolf about killing himself? Maybe...or maybe she wanted him dead for her own gain in attention.
A lot of people are basing their opinions on shite the media threw out there that is debunked in the documentary.

I know! That is the first thing that I noticed.

I’m sorry but this is not a crime regardless of what you think of her.
You obviously didn't read the texts here.
She really went all out on him. The physiological manipulation was so thick and scorched Earth to the point that she might as well actually kill him herself and there would be no difference.
She's an evil creature that will actually kill someone some day.

This is America. Anything that 51% of the people agreed was bad for any length of time is liable to be criminalized, and the authorities will look for every opportunity to enforce the crackpot laws that result. The result is the greatest mass incarceration in history.
Pretty crappy system, all in all.

The texts are easy to find.

This chick is the human version of shite. But this isn’t anything close to Manson. Those were actual murders (not suicides) and iirc Manson did actually participate in some of the crimes like identifying the victims and even maybe some of the B&E which made him an accomplice. Regardless, the crazy chick from the OP pushed some damaged kid over the edge. That kid was fricked up to begin with. He 100% committed that suicide ‘physically’ alone. I’m torn on whether or not what she did should be a ‘homicide or manslaughter’ but let’s just say I’m not in any way upset that she got locked up and fully deserves all the bullshite coming her way for the rest of her life.

I go back and forth on this case. She is 100% a piece of shite, but she didn't physically do anything to him. I do believe she should be punished, but you're starting a slippery slope there.

Yeah I agree. It’s a pretty big leap to assume the primary reason he killed himself is because she urged him to. I read the messages on here and, as twisted as this sounds, it appears she was genuinely encouraging him. Not like “KYS you small dick loser”.
Sticky situation.

Watch the HBO Documentary. She basically did it to revel in the attention she got from having her 'boyfriend' commit suicide. This chick is fricked in the head. With all that said, it's still that slippery slope of how much responsibility does she deserve for the boy killing himself. It wasn't like he was some mentally stable kid that didn't already suffer from depression.

She is a monster.

Not only does she have caterpillars for eyebrows, but it appears that she dyed them brown (a darker shade of brown).
