My dad got bitten on the foot by a BR after being in the crawl space of our house.
The tissue around the bite died and there was talk of amputating his leg from the calf down.
He finally got past the necrosis, but would occasionally get sick from the toxins for years after the bite.
I don’t frick around with spiders, venomous snakes, nor any jellyfish. Nope nope nope.
