LSU Top Tier status/Tejas kids that didn't grow up as lifelong Tiger diehards, Millennials that grew up with handheld gadgets while waiting for the school bus or while Mom gave 'em curbside SUV shuttles, LSU's corporate takeover of the seats, etc..

LSU has become progressively worse, as have much of the nation in a day of 85 inch QLEDs/OLEDs. TV the last few weeks, has shown pathetic fading crowds in Palo Alto, Starkville, LA, Miami, etc.. Bama fatigue/southern region/CFB becoming very much a regional sport, as the PAC, Big10, Big12 fans feel they can't truly compete for hardware, concussion studies/stats, Progressives pulling their kids from contact sports, kids becoming more E-Sports minded, never ceasing attendance costs, etc..

But, Auburn fans still pack in, and stay, and wave their pom poms 'til the end, and Notre, even Mich for Harbaugh's Stone Age act. LSU fandom has become a bit poseurish..at least compared to it's former glory.

It really pissed me off when they caved and stopped wheeling Mike out.

Also, it is kinda dumb to play "Bitch, I'm from Louisiana" when playing another state school. It's pretty dumb to play it at all.

Because my son is in the Auburn Band, I was at their game last week against Tulane (always entertaining to see Sad Greenies.)

There were plenty of empty seats at kickoff, and the stadium was pretty empty by the end of the game. Not as empty as at LSU last night, but plenty left early in the fourth.

Everybody has this problem.
