City Grocery or Mcewen's for fine dining

Ajax for good soul food ( its a diner - service is fairly quick but everything is great)

Boure is solid

Track 61 for Italian- best in town to me.. there are others but not that good

Snackbar- great cocktails and great food

St leo- very high rated restaurant- Pizza and Pasta and several good dishes. it's the hot new place in oxford

Kings Steakhouse- best steakhouse in town to me. solid weekly specials too.

Any place open on the Square.

Make sure you tell the maitre’d that you’re an LSU fan and that they should rename the Egg Bowl to “The Cripples’ Bowl”.

Blind Pig and Boure are my must go tos when I’m up there once a month for business. Outside of the drinks, St Leo’s has never lived up to the hype for me. Either steakhouse in the square is solid. Grocery for lunch, drinks upstairs at night.

Best lunch burger in town is Handy Andy’s on north Lamar.

Best breakfast is Big bad Breakfast

Best soul food lunch or dinner is Ajax

Best casual pizza is Funkys

Best dressed up pizza/Italian is St. Leo’s

Lots of decent steaks it’s a toss up between Grillhouse and Snack Bar

Really cool sushi place called Jensei, best Mojitos you’ll ever taste. Also they have grilled edemame and timpura green bean apps that I swear they put crack in. Plus the sushi is unreal.

Best bar to grab drinks with coworkers is City Grocery upstairs, go to the balcony. Second best is Boure Balcony. Also the Coupe on top of the Graduate Hotel is really cool.

If trying to stay out late and party with the locals midweek go to Library sports bar or Roosters karaoke. Very entertaining
