Les hater know-it-alls know about as much as O hater know-it-alls, about 0.
Kansas number one problem is lack of athletes.
Les is a proven recruiter both at Oklahoma State and LSU, and he has taken 2 teams to the Naties and won one. He is the best coach Kansas could hope to get and will do well. Well doesn’t mean beating OU and Texas every year but one of them every other year.
Think Jackie Sherrill at Mississippi State (1991–2003). He took a perineal loser to a competitive break even competitor. He was 75-75-2 there, won the SEC West in 1998, and finished #12 with a 10-2 record in 1999. He never won the conference but turned a door mat to a competitor. Kansas did well. It takes more than two games or a whole season to turn a program around.
