We stayed at the Royalton resort. It’s really nice and only a couple years old.
We liked the Xplor nature park excursion.
It included ziplines, utv rides, underground swimming, etc.

quote:yep. Did Xplor as well. Very fun. Xplor is just south of Playa Del Carmen FWIW. We split our last trip staying 4 days on Isla Mujeres and 4 in Playa on Cinco Ave.

I will never stay in Cancun proper.
