ok the first one when i bolded on the road, yes, but i really wasn't trying to on the 2nd one, anyhoo, on the road means at the other team, pretty standard definition and as much as people like to rail on the media, they typically wouldn't overlook something like that and we haven't even mentioned bowls where we have beaten the #1 team twice

I'm guessing on the road means at the opponent's stadium as a term of art. Because a common sense definition would seem to include any game where you had to travel a significant distance. You know, go ON THE ROAD.
