re: Louisiana State Farm Cuts Auto Insurance Rates Again

As an insurance agent, I always love seeing this type of “theatrics”. The DOI in LA is horse manure and is in thick with many of the insurance executives of each company, especially State Farm. It’s funny how much the DOI likes to hang their hat on these things during an election year.

I’m going on record that there will be very few actual State Farm customers that receive rate decreases. These types of “decreases” are typically done outside of your net premium going down. It honestly is terrible for State Farm customers that read this, expect a 3-5% rate decrease, open up their new policy only to see its gone up. Bad expectations are just that... bad.
