Your young DBs. Yes, Stingley is a very good player, but he is a freshman. And he isn't the only freshman DB you will be playing. Herman is going to dial it up to target these guys. Yes, they're athletic and skilled, but they are still freshman. Mistakes will be made. Blown coverage, missed assignments, etc. Our WRs like Duvernay, Johnson, and Eagles have been here many years and know how to get open. My "bold" prediction for the game is that Ehlinger will throw for 300+ on your defense. Our running game may have trouble getting it going, but Ehlinger will be locked in. Prepare for that.

Coach Herman did light up your defense and Ehlinger threw for well over 300 yards. Many of you laughed at that possibility. I'm encouraged by what I saw and I think we can win the Big XII this year and make it to the playoffs.
