He’s right. Burrow did well against a scrub team that was outmatched. And he won’t have to eat his words, because his words were that it’s too early to call Joe a top 5 SEC QB. He did not say he wasn’t. If Joe kills it Saturday he can simply say, “I’ve seen enough. He’s a top five SEC QB.”

BTW, Did you see the bomb to the wide open Marshall? If that was Etling you’d be wailing.

When Joe balls out he better not hop on the Burrow train.

That’s bs, the pass was there just a second late. Timing issue, it happens. To hit him in stride it would’ve be out the back of the end zone.

so in a game where Burrow threw for around 85% completions, 280ish yards and 5 scores (all in a half + one more drive), THIS is what you came up with? You're focused on ONE of his FOUR missed throws? Based on this logic, Trevor Lawrence is REALLY going to suck this year based on his performance against Georgia Tech

Wait, didn’t most consider him a top 5 SEC QB even before the season started.

Thank
UGA qb
Franks
Mond
Burrow

Those were pretty much everybody’s top 5
