Id say I’m critical of him as i am of any player I like and want to succeed. He’s simply not good enough at the highest level. He’s shown zero progression from when he first started getting regular minutes for Dortmund until now. He plays really fricking weak.

It becomes clear when you watch other kids his age with similar expectations, like sancho or Mount, that he’s not at their level. He doesn’t look out of place out there, but he adds very little to the team. He’s essentially just a placeholder, and that’s not going to cut it at clubs like Chelsea. When that transfer ban is up they will add more production out wide.
