speaking in chinese feels like you're speaking with a mouthful of water the whole time. I tried to pick it up but decided I'd rather not drown in my own saliva

Two of our division heads at work are Chinese, so I’ve been working on conversational mandarin here and there but it’s soooo hard! Russian has been slightly easier.
