I picked up a used Titleist 915D2 back in the spring and I love it. I noticed that some of the pros although hawking some new thing still use their old clubs.

What a lot of people dont understand is that all of the drivers out there are regulated or limited on the energy conversion factor of the club so all of them are capable of hitting it the same distance. What is different is how the club fits you in lie, face angle, launch, swing weight, flex, swing speed, etc... So finding what fits you may be the latest $800 stick or a slightly used gem from a few yrs ago.
