If you listen to Charlie and Ott, they did an interview with skip and he said point-blank. Saban left a team so talented anyone was going to win and Miles was not going anywhere soon because he had young kids.

I get his line of thinking, but that's not what to look for when hiring a football coach at LSU.

Exemplified by Miles actually winning games at a much greater pace with Saban's own recruits.....and then reaching another NC game with his own recruits?

Thus whole thread is full of idiocy and folks regurgitating the same tired narrative.

Go look at some teams that left the cupboard absolutely stocked (Miami, USC, Texas, Notre Dame), and then never accomplished half of what les did. His NC was in year 3. If O wins the NC this year are you giving the sole credit to Les?
