What about Tennessee 2005 at Tiger Stadium, which was Les Miles' 2nd game at LSU. I said that night, oh shite we are in trouble with this guy. Let me refresh your memory,
Tennessee looks like shite on humid night
They flew in the same day, so tired and not normal game day
Erik Ainge rattled, many turnovers
LSU up 21-0 at halftime
Should have been 24-0. Ran out of time with J. Russell scrambling, down at the 5 yard with no time outs left. Bad coaching. Spike it or throw away
Rick Clausen comes in and sparks Tenn.
Les Miles goes into run out the clock mode in the 3rd quarter
Tenn 1-8 3rd downs first half with 3 turnovers
We lose 30-27
Les Miles showed a way to conservative game up big and gave a beat up Tenn team life and they took advantage of it
That tall white cap should have been knocked off his head and some sense knocked into him. The crowd was crazy early on and the conservative play killed the energy of the crowd, but I knew deep inside where this doufus would lose us some games on being conservative with a big lead and that he did not gave a killer instinct.

Then he went 33-6 including a ship.
I TOTALLY agree he had to go and it should've happened sooner, but he deserves credit for his accomplishments as LSU HC

Watching the ‘05 UT game was all I needed to know that we no longer had a great coach.

When I mention idiots that disliked Miles from Game 2, especially knowing what we know about what was going on in and around the program after Katrina and Rita, keep this post in mind. I have not made that up...these fans exist. In droves.
Miles goes on to go 114-34 at LSU with 2 SEC Titles, a NC and a second NC appearance heading the longest run of success in the program's entire history...but THIS GUY knew we were in trouble.
Honestly...I fricking hope we're in that kind of trouble again REAL SOON with our current coach.
