Lots of people are single-issue voters. Not defending it, but it's true. I know lots of people who voted Trump only because of SCOTUS. They think he's a pretty disgusting human being, but he wasn't Hillary Clinton.
Trumpkins think all those people that voted for Trump love him.

The 2nd A is the cornerstone; it falls, the nation falls. Someone pointed out the the other day that it really should have been the 1st A in that it guarantees the other freedoms.
Now, with that said, if Trump does something relatively benign, I won’t like it, but I don’t think it will hurt him.
ETA: ADHD got me again. Didn’t realize this is a 5 page thread. My points probably been hashed and rehashed.
