A friend lived in Hatcher in the early 1980’s. One time, someone took a big dump in the urinal. The log remained there unmolested for a day or two and then someone stuck a plastic fork in it.

Power was nice. They sheared the deadbolt pins in the doors but you could take apart your closet door and swap it for a good one. I had a buddy who lived there and in the Spring semester there were empty rooms because of students who failed out or just moved. He was able to remove the ceiling tiles in his room and climb into the empty room next door, unlock the door, and let people crash there overnight. Missile Command in the lobby!
