I spent four months there last year, it is nowhere near a shithole.

Yeah I visited El Paso 4 times last year and spent about 6 week's total.
I determined it is in fact an infested shite hole.
Las Cruces, couple new suburbs out east of the airport, maybe a few other pockets is the only places half arse livable.
