You came to this conclusion after one year?

They'll be a better football team, yes-- that much is almost inevitable with another year in the system and a greater turnover in personnel packages.

It won't show that much in record. A 5 win season is about what they can expect.

Ed O is recruiting socal better than chip right now.

In a year or two chip will get lucky with some 3 star skill guys and sparkle.
At that point he pulls an upset and stomps usc. Pretty soon it's a destination.

Not today.
6-6 if he's lucky.

8-4. With losses to Oklahoma, Wa, Stanford and Utah. Maybe they can beat one of those teams to make it 9-3. Chip is the real deal.

8th toughest schedule? Give me a break. They will have a good record by default.

6-6. When Chip was at Oregon, his offense was new and innovative. Everyone runs it now and it doesn't catch people off guard anymore.

Although I am aware of what Chip Kelly did at Oregon, I am not a big fan of his. With that said, I think they finish 7-5, but long term I don't think Kelly will built what he had at Oregon.

I think a lot of his genius comes from being one of the 1st to really employ the HUNH. Now that everybody is doing it it's not quite as hard to defend since defenses are preparing for a version of it multiple times a year. Just because of that I don't think he will reach the heights he did at Oregon. His inability to attract athletes is puzzling though.

Chip might be Rich Rod 2.0

It was incredible at Oregon just like it was great at West Virginia. Chip achieved a little bit more.

Hasn't worked out since then.

I just saw a recruit that was supposedly leaning to UCLA picked Auburn this week. They're currently ranked 70th in recruiting after finishing in the 40s this past cycle. I don't know what Chip is doing.

As an SC fan, isn’t this sort of pot calling the kettle black?
